The New Orleans Saints will travel to East Rutherford, N.J. to take on the New York Jets on Saturday for Week 3 of the NFL preseason. The action will get underway at MetLife Stadium.

The Saints have been bounced from the playoffs in crushing fashion in two straight seasons. With Drew Brees, Michael Thomas and Alvin Kamara leading the offense, New Orleans will look to take the next step and hoist the Lombardi Trophy in February. First, they have to make it through the Jets in Week 3.

The game will be televised regionally on WVUE in the New Orleans market and on WCBS in the New York area.

The Jets will go as far as Sam Darnold takes them in 2019. That being said, New York added playmakers on defense to make the roster more talented as a whole. Unfortunately, the team's linebacker corps sustained a big blow, with Avery Williamson tearing his ACL and Brandon Copeland facing a four-game suspension.

One area of focus for the Jets this week will certainly be at linebacker where they will be hoping that some replacement-level players can step up and earn a rotation spot while the starters are sidelined.
