Saints Were Able to Shut Down Cowboys Offense by Studying Kellen Moore's College Game Film
By Ryan Giglio

Entering the new NFL season, many believed the youth and inexperience of new offensive coordinator Kellen Moore would negatively impact the Dallas Cowboys' offense.
After a dynamic first three games against bad teams, Dallas' offense looked mediocre at best against the Saints and Packers in the following games.
It turns out all the New Orleans Saints had to do in their Week 4 win was study some tape of Boise State University when Moore was the Broncos' quarterback.

Incredibly enough, the Saints discovered that Moore still uses some of the same hand signals with the Cowboys! The players were able to successfully decipher the signals and used that to their advantage during the matchup.
The Cowboys only scored 10 points against the New Orleans defense, their lowest of the season.
.@wyche89 said on Monday that Saints players said they looked at tape from Kellen Moore's time at Boise State and that they were able to pick up on things that helped them defensively. Seems to be happening and at a time where the Cowboys offense has struggled.

Moore was QB1 at Boise from 2008 to 2011. The fact that he still uses the same hand signals is mind blowing, especially since the NFL is an entirely different beast. If he had more experience in the league, maybe he would have learned to never repeat anything of that nature because smart organizations like the Saints will find it.
Perhaps Moore has now learned his lesson.
