VIDEO: Former White Sox and Brewers SS Tyler Saladino Rocks First Home Run in Korea and Gets Silent Treatment
By Adam Weinrib

Welcome to the Show, Tyler Saladino! Well, a different show, but still. A few days after recent KBO import Aaron Altherr rocked his first moonshot overseas, former Brewers and White Sox infielder Tyler Saladino has joined the club with a blast for the Samsung Lions. And yes, his teammates made sure he felt it when he got back to the dugout.

Cheer me, shun me, whatever! Doesn't matter. Dinger's still mine.
Saladino's been off to a hot start in totality for Samsung, too, recording the team's first hit of the entire season, live on ESPN. Unfortunately, their opening series didn't go as planned -- Eric Thames' former outlet, the NC Dinos, left them swept under the rug.

Saladino's 2016 season was his best in a ChiSox uniform; he hit .282 with eight homers in 93 games at the age of 26. However, he regressed in Milwaukee, hitting just .123 in part-time duty last season, leading to his attempt to blaze a new path in the KBO. So far, so good.
