Sansa Stark is Apparently a Bears Fan
By Jerry Trotta
Sunday might be dark and full or terrors for the Oakland Raiders, who head into their Week 5 tilt against the Chicago Bears across the pond at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.
The Raiders are injury-depleted, especially at the wide receiver position, while the Bears are welcoming the return of defensive world-beaters Roquan Smith and Akiem Hicks. What we're trying to say is that Oakland has a plethora of narratives working against them, and the last thing they needed was Chicago to rally behind a celebrity fan at the neutral stadium.
Sophie Turner, the actress who played iconic "Game of Thrones" character Sansa Stark, is in attendance for the clash donning all-Bears apparel.
Somewhere in Las Vegas a profusion of bookies just tacked on another point or two to the 6.5-point spread. Why wouldn't the Bears want to put on a show for The Queen of the North?
The NFL's annual London slate doesn't necessarily excite most football fans, but cool features like finding out Sansa freaking Stark is a Bears fan make it worthwhile.
This also isn't the first time that Turner made a guest appearance at a professional sporting event. Back in March, she chugged a glass of wine at a Rangers game when the MSG Jumbotron spotted her in the crowd.
The Queen is palpably hyped. Is she prepared to once again make GOT fans scoff at Tyrion Lannister's previously acclaimed wine-drinking prowess?
Tune in to find out.
