VIDEO: 'Santa Gronk' Shares the Story of How Grinch Bill Belichick Won 6 Rings
By Jerry Trotta
Rob Gronkowski's debut season as an NFL analyst for FOX has gone, well, just about as expected -- barring a few outlandish utterances, of course. The former Patriots tight end was back dissecting football on Sunday night, but did so individually on this occasion via social media. Living up to his enigmatic persona, Gronk dressed up as Santa Claus, or "Santa Gronk" to tell the tale of how the Grinch, Bill Belichick, became a six-time Super Bowl champ.
If you ignore the cringeworthy rhyme scheme (and read in between the lines a bit) Gronkowski's story makes sense. That doesn't take away from the fact that it is incredibly bizarre.
As the five-time Pro Bowler mentioned, Belichick's ascension to becoming the game's all-time greatest coach starts with his renowned zero-tolerance policy towards, well, anything but football.
And if any former Patriot is knowledgable of being forbidden to party, it's absolutely Gronk, who has undoubtedly been getting rowdy during his retirement.
