Dallas Cowboys star DeMarcus Lawrence raised some eyebrows when he rather rudely refused to sign an autograph for a young fan on account of the fact that he was wearing a Saquon Barkley New York Giants jersey.

But out of the disappointment 11-year-old Kamil Bautista felt has come some fantastic news: Barkley himself has invited Bautista to come hang out with him and watch the Giants play in November in their game against the Jets!

Barkley plans to fly Bautista and his family, who live in McAllen, Texas, out to New York for the Giants' Nov. 10 game, where he's almost certain to get all of the autographs that his heart desires.

It's incredibly heartwarming to see the standout running back go out of his way to bring something positive out of an otherwise disappointing encounter between a young fan of the game and one of the league's better players.

In fact, Lawrence might want to take some notes from Barkley on how to treat the fans with respect. Telling a kid to "get the right jersey" instead of just stopping to sign an autograph is immature. Barkley's gesture is exactly the type of action that the league needs in order to help foster a love of the game in the hearts of fans like Bautista.

Barkley may be a star on the field, but he's quickly proving himself to be a role model off of it. Interactions like these prove that he's the complete package as a player.
