Savage ESPN Graphic Exposes Le'Veon Bell for Being Focused on Everything But Football
By Sean Facey
Le'Veon Bell's contract holdout with the Pittsburgh Steelers was the stuff of legend. He was so adamant about squeezing every penny out of them that he didn't play a single snap in the 2018 season.
So what has the two-time All-Pro been up to since he last played in the NFL? Pretty much everything but football as this savage ESPN graphic clearly shows.
Since he last played in the NFL, he's had a whirlwind experience. Le'Veon released a rap album in August of last year and was robbed of $520,000 worth of jewelry in May. He's even focused on other sports. Bell was spotted playing basketball less than a week before his deadline to report to the Steelers, and he even offered to help Kawhi Leonard train for his NBA Finals matchup against the Warriors (we don't think Kawhi took him up on that).
At least he's been keeping himself busy!
The slew of non-football activities is proof that Bell's primary focus was the money. By all accounts, he had little concern, if any, for focusing on football while chasing down his preferred contract.
Bell's talent is undeniable, but his time might have been better served honing his craft rather than shooting hoops and dropping rap albums.
Now he's found a home as the new star on offense with the New York Jets, but it'll be interesting to see if Bell lives up to expectations.
