By Andrew Gullotta

As the negotiations to start the 2020 MLB season continue, agent Scott Boras has been a loud voice against the league and told his players to stand firm in talks, which has angered many baseball fans. However, Boras isn't all negative.
Boras announced that he's committed to paying all of his minor league clients that were released unexpectedly. He called the move by teams "completely unanticipated" to players.

Boras is finally looking like the protagonist in this situation, which has to be a first for the agent. He is known for aggressively negotiating contracts for players that usually makes teams, and sometimes fans, very unhappy. Additionally, he is outspoken when talking about his clients and their teams, which seems to always start an argument.
Surprisingly, Boras isn't a villain after all, and went above and beyond in looking out for his players when their organizations didn't.
