The main story surrounding the Seattle Seahawks this offseason has been about trying to get Jadeveon Clowney back on a new deal. The two sides have reportedly gone back and forth and it may be time for the team to finally move on and focus on the rest of the roster.

That roster is filled with talent, but these impending free agents have a ton to prove in 2020 if they want to earn lucrative deals (or new contracts with the team) in the offseason.

3. Bradley McDougald

McDougald has been with the Seahawks since 2017 and has the highest cap hit of anyone in the secondary in 2020. He'll turn 30 years old in November and has to prove he deserves one more solid contract. The veteran has 223 tackles and five interceptions in his three years with the team. Another average season could have the Seahawks moving on in favor of younger talent, so McDougald has to step it up.

2. Quinton Dunbar

Quinton Dunbar is in a peculiar situation before ever playing with the Seahawks. He was traded to Seattle from Washington this offseason and in May he was allegedly involved in an armed robbery in Miami, though witnesses have refuted his role in the situation. Nonetheless, it's still a bad look before even taking a snap with your new team heading into a contract year. He has a long road ahead to fix all of this and earn himself some money next offseason.

1. K.J. Wright

Wright will earn $7.5 million in 2020 at the age of 31. The linebacker has spent his entire career with the Seahawks and made one Pro Bowl in 2016. He's one of the last pieces remaining from the legendary Seahawks defense seen early last decade and set a new career-high with 132 tackles in 2019. However, his age will work against him and he needs to have a similar season in order to make sure his value doesn't drop too far in 2021. His reputation will only take him so far, especially outside of Seattle.
