For 31 of the 32 fanbases out there, Antonio Brown signing with the New England Patriots was legitimately the worst news possible. Keep drinking Sam Adams and washing it down with 'Chowdah' to celebrate, you Bostonians.

However, it looks like another team out there was willing to take the big risk in bringing in No. 84: the Seattle Seahawks. Pete Carroll made that much clear on Monday morning.

Oh mama, you mean to tell me Seattle was getting ready to add Brown to the list of weapons at Russell Wilson's disposal? Those two working together would have been a thing of beauty. For starters, Russ wouldn't have put up with any of Brown's crap, neither would Carroll.

It could have been the perfect environment for Brown to focus on football and get himself back on track. However, some fans out there think it could have been a nightmare, saying this may have been a Percy Harvin 2.0 kind of situation in the Emerald City.

Still, even with how big of a diva Brown is, there's no questioning he's one of the top receivers in the league. Seattle's current WR unit isn't bare, but they're lacking some sizzle. AB could have fixed that problem with one hand.

Alas, Brown instead signed with the Patriots, breaking American hearts. Brown might have caused plenty of headaches in Seattle, but that's what coffee and legal pot is for.

Now, he's with the Pats and this team looks destined to win another (expletive) Super Bowl. Give me a break.
