Seahawks and Giants Blew it by Not Selecting Thaddeus Moss Late in NFL Draft Before He Signed With Redskins

Despite playing an important role on a National Championship-winning team, Thaddeus Moss did not hear his name called on Day 3 of the NFL Draft, meaning he'll have to find a home asa UDFA in the hours to follow.

Moss, the son of NFL Hall of Famer Randy, was still on the board late for some TE-needy teams, including the Seattle Seahawks, who selected his teammate Stephe Sullivan.

While this is egregious enough, the Giants could also use an extra target for Daniel Jones, but instead selected Tae Crowder, an inside linebacker from Georgia, supplying him the honor of being 2020's Mr. Irrelevant.

Now, we surely don't want to take such an honor away from Crowder, but having the son of an all-time great hear his name called in the Draft's waning moments would've made for an all-time moment at a time in which we could surely use it.

Moss had 470 receiving yards paired with four touchdowns in 2019, and was largely considered a lock to be a Day 3 pick. Instead, some rough combine numbers forced him to drop.

Despite the initial disappointment, Moss signed with the Washington Redskins as a UDFA.

Now the Giants must really be kicking themselves.
