Seahawks DE Jadeveon Clowney Expected To Return From Hip Injury Next Week Vs Vikings
By Michael Luciano

Seattle Seahawks defensive end Jadeveon Clowney originally planned to suit up against Carson Wentz and the Philadelphia Eagles, but the former All-Pro pass rusher will sit this game out as he nurses a hip injury.
In a pregame radio show interview, Seahawks GM John Schneider said that he is optimistic that Clowney will be able to return in time for Seattle's matchup against Kirk Cousins and the Minnesota Vikings in Week 13.
John Schneider says on ESPN 710 pregame radio show the team is "very hopeful'' Clowney will play next week against Vikings.

Clowney might only have three sacks this year, but anyone that has watched even a half of Seahawks football this year can attest to how dominant he has been. In just 10 games this season, Clowney has pressured the quarterback 44 times, which dwarfs the numbers the likes of Rasheem Green, disappointing first-round pick LJ Collier, and free agent signing Ziggy Ansah are putting up.

Clowney simply can't miss any extended period of time, as the depth that the Seahawks have on the defensive line simply can't get consistent pressure enough without No. 90 on the edge blowing past offensive tackles. Hopefully the hip issue sorts itself out.
