Seahawks Fleeced Texans so Badly in Jadeveon Clowney Trade Not Even Madden Would Accept it

What in the world were the Houston Texans thinking? That's the question everyone had on Saturday morning after news broke the Seahawks had traded for Jadeveon Clowney and only gave up a third-round pick, linebacker Jacob Martin and pass-rusher Barkevious Mingo.
The trade was so bad, not even Madden would accept it. Seriously:
Seahawks GM John Schneider after pulling off a trade that Madden wouldn’t even consider:

YIKES. You know Texans fans are going to be having nightmares over this deal for quite a long time.
Plain and simple, it was a highway robbery. As you might expect, some of the other reactions on Twitter to the trade were absolute gold. Take a look for yourself:
The Seahawks should call back whoever answers the phones in the Texans front office and ask for DeAndre Hopkins as a throw-in.

Hey O'Brien, the Seahawks will toss in a seventh-round pick for DeAndre Hopkins. Do we have a deal?
If this ridiculously one sided trade happened in my fantasy league we would have had a 1000-email thread of finger pointing, protests and insults. https://t.co/xdZizu048f

This trade would not fly in ANY fantasy football league out there. Friends would surely become enemies if a commissioner actually let this one go through.
Imagining a Cousin Greg-style overwhelmed 26-year-old in the Texans front office who accidentally approved this deal while Bill O'Brien went to get a coffee and no one answered when he called the empty GM's office.

This is the only explanation for why this trade went down. Sorry Texans fans. John Schneider and Co. straight up owned Houston in this deal.
