The New Orleans Saints made a bold decision Friday by releasing guard Larry Warford. He had the second-highest cap hit on the team, behind only Drew Brees, and the Saints save $7 million with the move.

The guard has made three straight Pro Bowls and is instantly a top free agent. One team that should be calling his agent right away is the Seattle Seahawks.

The Seahawks have already made several changes along the offensive line this offseason after Russell Wilson was sacked 48 times in 2019. The team lost two tackles in George Fant and Germain Ifedi and are thin at guard even after re-signing Mike Iupati and drafting Damien Lewis in the third round.

Warford would instantly make the unit better and would be affordable as the Seahawks have just over $2 million in cap space at this moment in time.

This move is a no-brainer, especially if the Seahawks are ready to move on without Jadeveon Clowney. The team has tried to remake the offensive line and a Pro Bowl guard has suddenly hit the open market. There is no better option and if the Seahawks are serious about protecting Wilson, the team needs to make an offer for Warford right away. He won't be on the market for long.
