Seahawks DB Quinton Dunbar Sends Emotional Message to Fans After Posting Bond on Armed Robbery Charges
The Seattle Seahawks were picturing a much more positive start to Quinton Dunbar's career when they brought him to the Emerald City. Instead, the defensive back has brought great embarrassment to the organization after he and New York Giants cornerback DeAndre Baker were arrested on alarming armed robbery charges.
Dunbar has since been released from jail after posting bail. One of the first things he did was take to social media to apologize to his loyal fans. In his message, you can see just how sorry Dunbar is in regards to what's transpired.
Dunbar posted his $100,000 bond on Sunday afternoon. Per his lawyers, the cornerback's legal team has sworn statements from witnesses exonerating Dunbar from his alleged crimes. As things stand, he's facing four felony charges of armed robbery.
This entire incident took place in Florida, where Dunbar is as of this writing. Per his release terms, he's not allowed to leave the state for the time being, while the judge did say that could change for work purposes.
This investigation is only getting started, with both Dunbar and Baker still in serious trouble with the law. Once more facts are presented, the Seattle Seahawks and New York Giants will have tough decisions to make in regards to these guys' futures.
