Russell Wilson Sends Heartfelt Message After Tarvaris Jackson's Tragic Death
By Jerry Trotta

The NFL was forced to reckon with an unspeakable tragedy on Monday morning when it was confirmed that retired quarterback Tarvaris Jackson died in an overnight car crash in Alabama.
This news clearly impacts the entire league, but Jackson's former teammates are surely feeling the brunt of the heartbreak. That includes Russell Wilson, who played alongside Jackson in Seattle for four seasons.
The Seahawks superstar tweeted out a somber message after catching wind of the tragic news.
TJack... you will be missed. Praying for your family...Love you man. ?

The epitome of gutting.
After a five-year run with the Minnesota Vikings, Jackson landed with the Seahawks, where he lost his QB1 post to a then-rookie Wilson in 2012. While some players would sulk and become detached, Jackson took his role change in stride and quickly morphed into one of the most valuable backups in the NFL.
Former #Seahawks QB Tarvaris Jackson died last night in a car accident in Alabama, a spokesperson for his employer Tennessee State tells me. Jackson, 36, was TSU’s QB coach. Along with Seattle, he also played for the #Vikings and #Bills.

Wilson clearly cherished his friendship with Jackson, so learning of his death must have been agonizing.
Like the six-time Pro Bowler, we send our deepest condolences to Jackson's family.
