VIDEO: Never Forget the Time Seahawks Legend Shaun Alexander Torched the Vikings With 5 First-Half TDs

While kids these days may think Marshawn Lynch is the best running back in Seattle Seahawks history, we'll always need to remind them about the one and only Shaun Alexander. Good ol' No. 37 was an absolute stud for the Hawks, providing countless unforgettable memories. This includes that one time he torched the Minnesota Vikings for five touchdowns... in the first half alone.
How on earth did Shaun Alexander score 5 TD... IN ONE HALF!?!?!

It was in primetime that Alexander went ahead and put on this show. On Sept. 29, 2002, Alexander indeed rushed for four scores and added a receiving TD in a monster first 30 minutes against Minnesota. Seattle went on to win that game 48-23, with Alexander recording 231 total yards and his five touchdowns.
The Alabama product was unstoppable that game. Whenever it looked like the Vikings had him wrapped up, he'd truck a defender over and fight for more yards in typical Alexander fashion.

The 2005 NFL MVP is a legend in the 206 and has a major argument to one day get inducted into the Hall of Fame. That showing against the Vikes sure looks strong on his resume.
