Seahawks Should Stick it to Rams and Sign Todd Gurley

The Los Angeles Rams released Todd Gurley to save $10 million, allowing him to sign with whatever team he chooses for the 2020 season. We'll soon find out if such a move will come back to bite them.

A team that should pursue the former Pro Bowl running back is the Rams divisional rival: the Seattle Seahawks.

Ever since Marshawn Lynch announced his first retirement, the Seahawks have struggled to find a consistent ground game. While they might have found their answer in the oft-injured Chris Carson, pairing him up with Todd Gurley could make for a lethal running back duo.

Of course, the Seahawks would not call it quits with Carson as he would still likely be their main ball carrier, but Gurley could provide Russell Wilson another weapon in the passing game, and a very good goal-line back as the Georgia product put up 12 touchdowns last season in a down year.

Gurley would most certainly improve a Seattle offense that is headlined by Wilson. Even better, they would also steal a Pro Bowl talent from one of their division rivals, which would be the ultimate offseason move for the Hawks.

Gurley would be a tremendous fit in Seattle, but it remains to be seen if he feels the same way, or if they'll match his asking price.
