Seahawks WR Jaron Brown Suffered MCL Sprain in Week 17 vs 49ers
By Scott Rogust

The Seattle Seahawks missed out on a first-round bye in the NFC playoffs following their loss to the San Francisco 49ers. On top of the loss, the Seahawks are dealing with yet another injury.
According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, Jaron Brown suffered an MCL sprain during Sunday's game vs the 49ers. The team will keep tabs on Brown's status leading up to their Divisional Round matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Brown's injury occurred during quarterback Russell Wilson's very first pass of the game. When attempting to haul in the pass, Brown took a nasty tackle. After the first series, the receiver was ruled out for the remainder of the game.
Ironically, Seattle already entered Sunday's game without wideout Malik Turner due to a concussion. In Brown's absence, rookie John Ursua stepped in and hauled in his lone target for 11 yards.

In 14 games this season, Brown logged 16 receptions on 28 targets for 220 yards and two touchdowns.
If Brown is unable to suit up in Philadelphia this Saturday, the Seahawks will have just four healthy receivers in Ursua, Tyler Lockett, DK Metcalf and David Moore.
