Sean Payton Takes Shot at Replay Review Postgame After Michael Thomas' OPI Penalty Wasn't Overturned
By Karl Rasmussen

The New Orleans Saints escaped with a narrow victory over the Panthers on Sunday, thanks to a game-winning field goal from Wil Lutz. But, of course, the win didn't come without controversy.
It's never Big Easy.
Sean Payton was critical of both his own team and the officiating crew in New York after a questionable replay review on a called offensive pass interference on Michael Thomas.
Sean Payton: It wasn’t our best game, it wasn’t there best game and quite honestly it wasn’t New York’s best game

Thomas was called for offensive pass interference on a two-point conversion, a penalty which stood upon review, despite the replay appearing to show Thomas barely made contact with the Panthers DB.
Payton was less than thrilled with the result of his challenge, and rightfully so.
Saints WR Michael Thomas reels in the TD pass, but a questionable OPI penalty nullifies his 2-point conversion catch.

Fortunately the Saints were able to come away with a win, but it's clear Payton was not pleased with the officiating, once again. It seems the Saints simply can't avoid controversy when it comes to the league office and this current batch of referees. Plenty of oversight, still no results.
