Sean Payton Trolls Browns While Hopping in Kay Adams' Mentions
By Jerry Trotta
Round 1 of the first-ever virtual NFL Draft came and went on Thursday night, and most would agree that it went swimmingly. ESPN killed its coverage and we don't recall any significant glitches transpiring throughout the four-hour long telecast.
However, the stressful night clearly took a toll on some of the league's most prominent voices. NFL Network host Kay Adams' day-after attire had a glaring issue and Twitter didn't hesitate to point it out.
Adams embraced the hate, and simultaneously welcomed New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton to the party in a funny post.
Payton played along by acknowledging that the Saints were shopping their third-rounder (along with Adams' missing arm) to jump into the second round.
After that, Payton, out of literally nowhere, blasted the Cleveland Browns.
Shots fired!
Does anybody know of any beef between Payton and the Browns? This troll job was wholly unpredictable and slightly uncalled for, even if it hilariously pokes at Cleveland's 20-year run of losing.
The Browns were minding their own business and Payton flamed them for no reason other than the fact that he can. That's what happens when you muster up just two winning campaigns since 2000.
