Seems Like NFL Writer Evan Silva Has an Obvious Burner Account
By Karl Rasmussen
Oh, the burner account. Haven't we learned by now that it's not safe to use a one in the sports world? At least not unless you tread extremely cautiously.
It looks like Evan Silva may just have a burner account of his own, at least based on the activity of a very unusual looking account on Twitter.
The account in question, @chaelp1, has just five followers and follows only one individual. You guessed it: Evan Silva. Everyone knows the first rule of burner accounts is that you don't follow yourself!
The Twitter account, presenting itself as "Zach s," rushed to Silva's defense in an argument over Bears' Mitchell Trubisky, after an article from the Chicago Tribune which criticized the quarterback for throwing interceptions at camp.
Zach may have been a bit too defensive over his main man Silva, as Twitter user @thejanman64 called Silva out, accusing him of operating the questionable account.
Twitter user @TrubiskyG, who is clearly not at all biased in favor of the Bears' quarterback, provided evidence as to why Trubisky was throwing more interceptions at practice, showing a video clip of Matt Nagy saying the team wanted him to try to throw into multi-player coverage.
Well, after going back and forth with the alleged burner account and making sound arguments in Silva's replies, the NFL writer issued @TrubiskyG with a firm blocking on the platform.
Silva may just have outed himself as a burner account owner here, but either way, he had enough @TrubiskyG and his antics.
