Senator Introduces Bill That Would Require Packers to Be Broadcast in Every Wisconsin County

Football season is in full effect and if you live in Wisconsin, there's a good chance you are a Green Bay Packers fan, right? Of course, if you fill your Sundays with Packer football, you'd better make sure you never move to certain counties stuck in an out-of-state market, meaning their residents have to watch the Minnesota Vikings instead of the Packers.
To make sure all Wisconsinites can watch their beloved Packers, U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin is reintroducing her Go Pack Go Act that requires cable, satellite and other video providers to broadcast Packer games, provided you live in the state of Wisconsin.
There are currently 12 border counties in Wisconsin who have to watch Vikings games if Minnesota and Green Bay are playing at the same time on the same broadcast network.
Luckily, there are only three weeks (3, 14, and 17) where this is a problem, but that's three fewer games Cheesehead fans get to see.
“Every Packers fan across our state should be able to watch every Packers game,” Baldwin said, in the news release. “My Go Pack Go Act would give Packers fans in every Wisconsin county the opportunity to receive in-state broadcasts, so they can cheer on our beloved green and gold.”
All I know is, at the very least, this is a great way to get people in the state of Wisconsin to go out and vote for her when the time comes.
