Seth Roberts' Nickname for Lamar Jackson is Cringeworthy But His Heart is in the Right Place

It seems like literally everyone loves Lamar Jackson.

I mean, how can you not? From his infectious personality and great leadership ability, to his MVP-level play on the field, it's impossible not to shower Jackson with praise. And his Ravens teammates hold him in incredibly high regards, as well.

Wide receiver Seth Roberts had a rather interesting way of expressing his admiration for the team's star signal caller. Roberts revealed the rather cringeworthy nickname he crafted for Jackson: "Freaky L."

Roberts explained the nickname, saying, "I call him 'Freaky-L.' You know he can do anything out there. He's just freaky... I've never seen anything like 'Freaky-L.'"

It's great to see Roberts supporting his QB, especially after scoring his first touchdown of the year this past weekend. But this nickname is more odd than cool, and certainly doesn't have the effect Roberts was hoping for. Maybe, for now, Jackson can just stick to "LJ8."

While the nickname may not have been the coolest, it's extremely encouraging to see the way this Ravens team has meshed of late, in large part thanks to the play of Jackson.

Let's hope someone comes up with a better nickname, and quick, otherwise "Freaky-L" might end up catching on.
