Shaq's Son Shareef O'Neal Honors Kobe Bryant and Daughter Gianna With Series of Tribute Tattoos
By Karl Rasmussen
We've seen a handful of Kobe Bryant-inspired tattoos in the days since his passing, including an incredibly heartfelt one from LeBron James, but the latest individual to get some ink in tribute to Kobe was none other than Shaq's son, Shareef O'Neal.
Shareef posted photos of a pair of new tattoos he got in honor of the late Kobe and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna, who died in a tragic helicopter crash in Calabasas.
One of the tattoo's features Kobe with a ball in his hands, surrounded by the No. 8, No. 24 and a Mamba jersey with Gianna's No. 2 on it. O'Neal also got Kobe's logo tattooed on him, with "Mamba Mentality" written above it.
Considering the close relationship Shaq and Kobe shared, it's no wonder Shareef held Bryant and his daughter Gianna in such high regard.
In the aftermath of Bryant's passing, O'Neal shared some messages from a conversation he had with Kobe the very same morning of the helicopter crash.
He's since posted various tributes to the Bryants on social media, and now capped it all off with these awesome tattoos, a permanent reminder of what his second family meant to him.
