Shaquille O'Neal Drops Perfect Response to Son Shareef's Comical IG Post About Missing Free Throws
By Michael Luciano
Even during a Drew League game, Shareef O'Neal can't escape his dad's 7-foot-1 shadow. Shareef, who is set to begin his first season under Mick Cronin at UCLA, was heckled by a fan who shouted "Just like your daddy!" at him after he missed two straight free throws.
Shaq found his way to Instagram to give his son some fatherly advice on how to deal with hecklers in the most Shaq way possible.
If these hecklers really think that you're going to touch a nerve with either Shaq or Shareef by bringing up Shaq's poor free throws, they're truly kidding themselves.
Shareef dominated this particular Drew League game, which marked his first organized basketball game since open heart surgery that forced him to miss the entire season at UCLA. While he's certainly got a huge legacy to live up to, the younger O'Neal seems well on his way to stardom.
Shaq is firmly stating his case for the hypothetical Basketball Dad of the Year award here.
