VIDEO: Shirtless Fan at Rose Bowl Runs Across Field and Gets Tackled by Security
By Michael Luciano
It's almost impossible upstage the glorious scene that is the Rose Bowl, but that's what one fan at the game between Justin Herbert's Oregon Ducks and Jonathan Taylor's Wisconsin Badgers managed to do. The fan in question ran out to the 50-yard line without his shirt off, drawing a mixed reaction from the crowd.
Paging Kevin Harlan, your assistance is needed!
There are unconfirmed reports that the fan in question was a Utah supporter, who is still wounded after Texas beat the Utes up in the Alamo Bowl.
At least this guy seemed more mild-mannered about the whole affair than most drunken buffoons that run on the field. He barely even put up a fight with security before he was tackled to the Rose Bowl turf and promptly taken out of the stadium.
On the "shirtless fan running across the field" scale, this is a solid seven or eight out of 10.
Whoever this doofus was managed to get his moment in the spotlight. However, that notoriety will come with a night in the clink. We really hope it was worth it.
