VIDEO: Shrewsbury Commits Catastrophic Own Goal Header From Long Distance Against Liverpool
By Sam Dunn
Liverpool was forced into the indignity of needing to play a fourth-round FA Cup replay against humble lower-division Shrewsbury Town on Tuesday, and despite playing nothing but young lads, Jurgen Klopp's Premier League leaders are doing just fine. Juuuuuust fine, I tell you. Just ask Ro-Shaun Williams, a Shrewsbury center back who is NOT doing just fine. At all.
On 75 minutes facing a scoreless deadlock, that's a hell of a way to put the first goal of the game on the board. That's a proper golazo if you put it into the correct net! A header from that far out is hard to put on frame.
It's a shame that Williams will be forced to hang his head for the final 15 against the mighty Reds. He really did put a proper noggin on that one.
