Skip Bayless Calling Out LeBron for Being Hidden During Kobe Bryant Memorial Proves LBJ Haters Are Hypocritical
By Michael Luciano
We all know Skip Bayless is clearly doing a bit when it comes to his exaggerated distaste for all things LeBron James, but there is no way that he could find a way to get a dig in at LeBron when discussing the death of Kobe Bryant, right? Oh, how wrong you are.
Bayless found a way to criticize LeBron for not being front and center during Kobe's memorial service at the Staples Center. This is too much, even for Skip.
James famously eulogized Kobe in his own, authentic fashion before the Lakers' first game after his death. While widely praised for how he handled that, a small pocket of haters criticized him for what they felt was making Kobe's death all about him. Now when he chooses not to be a vocal presence, he also gets criticism?
Instances like this prove that LeBron haters will jump at any chance, logical or not, to try and rip the King.
Everyone grieves differently, and the fact that anyone, sports analyst or not, can tell someone that the way they are grieving is invalid or somehow "wrong" is pretty disgusting.
We live in a timeline where High Noon gets cancelled while shows like Undisputed, First Take, and their innumerable knock-offs continue to flourish. Some things just aren't right.
