Skip Bayless Claims He Lost Respect for Green Bay Fans in Whiny Postgame Tweet
By Scott Rogust
The Green Bay Packers survived a second-half comeback by the Dallas Cowboys, defeating them 34-24 on Sunday. At one point, the Packers actually had a 31-3 lead over Dallas, and it wasn't an especially good day for Cowboys fans, especially for homer Skip Bayless, who let the all-caps reverse jinxes launch with reckless abandon.
Week 5 was a roller coaster of emotions for the FOX Sports hot take machine, and after a final score that was brought closer by questionable penalties, Bayless declared that he had no more respect for the Packers.
A very interesting choice of words by Bayless, considering what he said earlier in the game.
With the Cowboys looking dead in the water, Bayless actually declared that Packers fans deserved the right to gloat.
It's truly amazing how 21 extra points can change a person's mindset, especially one like Bayless, who thrives on angering about 90% of sports fans.
When it comes to Bayless' shtick, he lets the entire world know how much he loves the Cowboys and how great they are, especially when they win. When Dallas loses, however, there are plenty of excuses, as exhibited by the first tweet.
Just take the "L", Skip. Why would any opposing fan respect you after the first overreaction?
