VIDEO: Skip Bayless Tries to Destroy Drew Brees With Tom Brady Comparison
By Jerry Trotta

It's widely understood that FS1 personality Skip Bayless will go to great lengths to ensure that Tom Brady is portrayed in a positive light during his live television hits. To nobody's surprise, the "Undisputed" co-host was back to lauding the 42-year-old quarterback on Friday's show by bizarrely comparing how he's aged to New Orleans Saints gunslinger Drew Brees. In the clip, Bayless essentially says that Brady didn't regress at all during the 2019 season, his 20th in the NFL.
Are we sure Drew Brees isn’t starting to hit the wall or has he already hit the wall? More @Undisputed, now on FS1 https://t.co/aHC37XuI3n

This is classic Skip.
Anybody who watched New Orleans last year realized that Brees lost some spice on his deep ball, but we're still talking about a player who threw for 27 touchdowns compared to four interceptions. Brady, meanwhile, tallied 24 touchdowns and eight interceptions. Does Bayless not remember that the Saints star missed five games to repair a torn UCL in his throwing thumb? The former New England Patriots signal caller played in all 16 games.

We understand that Brees had his peaks and valleys in 2019 -- look no further than New Orleans' loss to the Minnesota Vikings in the Wild Card Round -- but Skip dismissing him as an elite quarterback is bananas. Statistics and the Saints 13-3 record proves that he was the better player last season.
