Snacks Harrison Shuts Down Complaining Giants Fans With NSFW Tweet
By Charles Nason
Former New York Giants nose tackle Damon Harrison took to Twitter to shut down complaints from fans of his former team. In the midst of last year's season, Harrison was traded to the Detroit Lions for a fifth-round pick.
Harrison started in nine games for the Lions last year after playing the first seven games with the Giants. Despite the trade, it seems as though Harrison hasn't avoided criticism and abuse from Giants fans.
Through the beginning of the NFL's voluntary OTAs and just a few months from the start of the season, Harrison has been absent from the Lions program. This has ticked off some fans, and understandably so.
The all-pro nose tackle is set to make $6.75 million this year and $9 million next year. Harrison can also make an additional $250,000 during the offseason just for attending the OTA program.
With New York Giants fans still criticizing Harrison directly, he'll have a chance for vengeance this October. The Lions and Giants are set to play on Oct. 27 at Ford Field in Detroit.
Until that game, it would probably be best to stay out of Damon Harrison's DM's.
