Someone's Actually Trying to Sell Tickets to Packers' Shareholders Meeting

Everybody knows that the Green Bay Packers have one of the most passionate fan bases in the entire NFL. As a result, their pride often carries over into their business pursuits, looking to make money off of anything related to the Packers organization.

This became evident when tickets to the Green Bay's shareholders meeting went up for sale on Craigslist. And it wasn't just one or two individuals trying to pawn their tickets, with at least six confirmed listings on the advertising website. Prices ranged from $5 to $26, with one shareholder even offering to give his up for free.

Interested in what these shareholders had to say in their ads for the event? Here is just one of the several listings posted on Craigslist by a "loyal" Packers fan:

"Four tickets to the Fab Fest Shareholders Meeting at Lambeau Field on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at 11:00 AM!!! I have four available and am letting them all go for a total of $100!!!! While these tickets do not have a price listed, in the past, they have gone for far higher."

These inappropriate attempts to sell the tickets came much to the chagrin of Aaron Popkey, Packers Director of Public Affairs, who stated the following in response to the news:

"When we are made aware of such things that would not be permitted we ... attempt to make contact and ask the individual to take it down. If necessary, we would use a cease-and-desist type of communication."

Quite frankly, I'd be more interested in buying a Cheesehead hat than tickets to the shareholders meeting.
