Some truly devastating news developed on Saturday regarding the family of a former Dallas Cowboys player.

Terry Glenn Jr, the son of the late NFL and Ohio State star, passed away on Thanksgiving due to an accidental drug overdose, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

The 22-year-old was reportedly found unresponsive in a bathroom at his home in Columbus, Ohio on Thursday.

His shocking death comes almost exactly two years after his father was killed in a car crash on Nov.20, 2017 while on his way home from a Cowboys game. Understandably, Glenn Jr never got over the death of his father, tweeting as recently as Thanksgiving about how much he missed him.

The epitome of gut-wrenching.

The narcotics that were involved in his passing have not been disclosed, but we will provide updates if they are made available.

Glenn Jr.'s death is nothing short of devastating and our deepest condolences go out to his family during this time.
