VIDEO: South Korea's Lee Hyun-seok Gives us the Bat Flip We Deserve Right Now During KBO Intrasquad Game
By Brendan Balsamo
With baseball not around here in America for the time being, it looks like fans of the game are going to have to direct their attention to those effective curve-flatteners over in South Korea. SK Wyverns of the KBO played an intrasquad game on Monday as a part of their ramping up to live action, and Lee Hyun-seok gave fans across the globe an awesome bat flip.
The three weeks without live sports due to the unprecedented coronavirus outbreak has felt like three months, so fans patiently waiting for sports to return have earned this bat flip from Hyun-seok.
SK's intrasquad game was not the only game going on on Monday, as three other squads got to play too. NC, LG, and Lotte also had intrasquad games that have highlights that can be watched on YouTube.
With the world being starved for sports at the moment, the KBO is the saving grace sports fans needed. We hope it doesn't go anywhere, and we hope Americans follow instructions so our playing fields can look like this, too, sooner rather than later.
