A member of the St. Louis Blues' Stanley Cup championship roster is staying put.
The Blues announced on Sunday that they've signed center Oskar Sundqvist to a four-year, $11 million contract, for which he'll earn a $2.75 million annual salary.

Sundqvist became a restricted free agent on July 1 and was scheduled to enter arbitration hearings with the Blues this Wednesday. St. Louis decided to avoid that process altogether and rewarded the forward with a new contract.
A 2012 third-round pick of the Pittsburgh Penguins, Sundqvist was acquired by the Blues back in 2017 in the Ryan Reaves trade. A change of scenery proved to do wonders for him..
This past season, the 25-year-old posted career numbers in the NHL, scoring 17 goals and delivering 14 assists through 74 games. In fact, those were both the most through the first three years of his NHL career combined.
