St. Louis Cardinals to Open New Texas Rangers Stadium as Visitors in Exhibition Game
By Adam Weinrib

Out with the old Globe Life Park, in with the new Globe Life Field.
When the Texas Rangers open up their new grounds next year, the sparkling jewel will host a 2011 World Series rematch prior to the launch of the regular season, welcoming the St. Louis Cardinals to town.

The new stadium has looked pretty intense in its early renderings, and it is sure to cause some confusion in the early going due to its name being nearly identical to that of its predecessor.
These are just details, though. Right?

Rangers fans are surely beyond ready to exact a modicum of revenge on St. Louis for their down-to-the-last-strike World Series victory in 2011. No matter the opponent, this is sure to be a celebration of baseball excess, and the Rangers faithful should proudly walk through those archways (are those archways?) and witness the ensuing dinger madness from their excellent offense.
How far can Joey Gallo really hit one, anyway? The limits of human ability are about to be tested, and St. Louis will be the first victims.
