Stars' Contract Details With Joe Pavelski Reportedly Revealed
By Scott Rogust

Joe Pavelski was the face of the San Jose Sharks franchise for the past 13 seasons. But just like life, sometimes an individual just needs a change of scenery.
Reports began surfacing on Sunday night that Pavelski was signing a three-year deal with the Dallas Stars. On Monday, the three-year contract was confirmed, and Pavelski will earn an annual salary of $7 million. To top it all off, Pavelski will receive a full no-trade clause in the first two years of his deal.

Not bad for the veteran center.
After falling just one win and one goal short of the Western Conference Finals, the Stars are going all-in with their Stanley Cup window wide open.

The writing appeared to be on the wall for Pavelski after the Sharks re-upped with defenseman Erik Karlsson on a massive eight-year contract. With very limited cap space and the team's desire to sign Timo Meier, Pavelski decided it was time to try things out with a new team.
The Stanley Cup has long-eluded Joe Pavelski, and he hopes he can get a taste of it as a member of the Dallas Stars.
