Stat About Bears Defensive Dominance Makes Mitchell Trubisky and Matt Nagy Look Even Worse
By Michael Luciano

Although Vic Fangio left to take the head coaching job in Denver, Chuck Pagano has the Chicago Bears playing like a top tier defense once again.
Despite that, the Bears are just 4-6 and look unlikely to make the playoffs, thanks largely to their underwhelming offense which ranks 30th in the NFL.
Bears are allowing 17.4 PPG, the fewest by a team with a losing record.

Bears on pace to allow the fewest PPG by an @NFL team with a losing record since the 2004 Redskins.
As I was saying Sunday... https://t.co/PQteK5zYZW
The Bears defense is currently allowing 17.4 points per game, which is the fewest average points surrendered by a team with a losing record. That undesirable milestone currently belongs to the 2004 Redskins, a team led by Mark Brunell and Patrick Ramsey.
Imagine how bad Chicago would be if they didn't have an "offensive guru" at the helm.
Matt Nagy's popgun offense has been exposed this season, and Mitchell Trubisky's sharp regression has made the Bears one of the most laughable offenses to watch in the entire league.
Trubisky should sue Pace for drafting him over Mahomes and Watson.

Trubisky appears to be getting worse by the week. If he struggles against a porous Giants defense this week, don't be surprised if heads start to roll.
The defense will surely keep the Bears in the game, so it'll be up to Trubisky to get the offense rolling in Week 12.
