Stats Show Aaron Rodgers' Performance vs Raiders Was Literally Perfect and History in the Making

Aaron Rodgers wasn't just good Sunday against the Oakland Raiders. He was historically great.
The Green Bay Packers have been around for over 100 years, and no quarterback had ever piled up a perfect 158.3 passer rating. An the strength of 429 passing yards and five touchdowns through the air, Rodgers became the first Packer to hit that benchmark.

Bart Starr never did it. Brett Favre was never perfect. In his Hall of Fame career, even Rodgers himself never got to this point.
What makes this virtuoso performance even more awe-inspiring was the fact that Rodgers was playing without his favorite target in Davante Adams. Even worse, his two top remaining receivers in Marques Valdes-Scantling and Geronimo Allison were playing at less than full strength.
Aaron Rodgers became just the sixth quarterback in NFL history to attempt at least 30 passes and finish a game with a perfect 158.3 passer rating.

Rodgers not only decimated the red-hot Raiders and put up numbers no QB in his position has done before, but he put himself squarely in the MVP discussion as he leads the 6-1 division-leading Packers.
