Steelers WR Diontae Johnson Shares Photo in Hospital Bed on Instagram

Pittsburgh Steelers rookie wide receiver Diontae Johnson had a nice debut season in 2019. He finished with 680 receiving yards and five touchdowns in what was a tough year for Pittsburgh on offense.

He figures to be a big part of the offense in 2020 and that is why it was a bit alarming when he posted a picture of himself in a hospital bed on his Instagram.

Johnson played in all 16 games for the Steelers and did not have any major injury concerns. That is what makes this situation confusing with no added context.

The important thing right now is hoping that Johnson is doing alright and that this is nothing serious. The post came out of nowhere, and there has been no official announcement on his status.

Steelers fans saw the offense go through a transition in 2019 and Johnson had himself a nice year even with the turnover at quarterback. With Ben Roethlisberger back in the fold this coming season, Johnson could be due for a monstrous year.
