Diontae Johnson Working Out With Antonio Brown Will Only Confuse Steelers Fans

Did anybody count how many bridges wide receiver Antonio Brown burned amid his ugly divorce from the Pittsburgh Steelers?

We won't bother doing the math, because it would only make this particular piece of news a double whammy for Steel City natives.

A photo that perhaps no Steelers supporter wanted to see emerged on Thursday, and it showed promising young wideout Diontae Johnson working out with Brown. Unsurprisingly, this storyline came to light when AB shared the picture on his Instagram story.

Even though Johnson was still lighting it up at Toledo while Brown was strong-arming his way out of Pittsburgh, Steelers fans have every right to feel confused...and a tad uneasy here.

Mr. Big Chest isn't someone that most would consider a role model for any young player, let alone one that is fresh off an impressive rookie campaign and plays for Brown's former team that likely loathes him.

Of course, there's also the fact that AB is one of the best wide receivers on the planet. He could instill some invaluable wisdom in Johnson, right? If Brown is simply focused on improving Johnson's footwork, route-running, and conditioning., then maybe this is a good thing.

Even still, this is just a bizarre optic to breach. Steelers fans can only cross their fingers and hope for the best.
