Some thought Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier would never walk again after a severe back injury left him unable to move his legs.
However, after undergoing spinal stabilization surgery, the two-time NFL Pro Bowler has continued to amaze fans with the speed of his recovery, and feels that his days of playing football are far from over.
In fact, Shazier said that when it's all said and done, he wants to be a Hall of Famer and continue to chase the dream he has had his sights on since infancy.
Ryan Shazier: “I still want to make the Hall of Fame, still want to be the best linebacker in the NFL. I’m not giving up on my goals, and the doctors said don’t give up on my goals, so there’s no problem with me doing that.”https://t.co/L8kLOkyM8a

"I’m just going to keep working, and hopefully I’m going to be back as soon as I can," said Shazier.
Shazier has not played a down of football since the injury occurred in 2017, but the former First-Team All-American refuses to quit his rehab and is determined to be the best.
