Steelers Legend James Farrior Takes Shot at Antonio Brown and Le'Veon Bell on Twitter
By Thomas Carannante
You thought only Pittsburgh Steelers fans were fed up with the antics of Antonio Brown and Le'Veon Bell?
That disdain extended even further to former Steelers players, with two-time Super Bowl champ James Farrior being one of them. He had a late-night message for Pittsburgh fans in regards to the team finally ridding itself of Brown and Bell.
Someone's either very confident in James Conner and JuJu Smith-Schuster... or is just completely done with the circus that engulfed the Steel City last season.
A message from a guy like this -- Farrior was a Steeler for a dozen years and was voted team MVP in 2004 -- certainly carries a lot of weight. With that in mind, any manner of response from Brown or Bell might not be in their best interest. Farrior was one of the most durable and consistent linebackers in the NFL during his 15-year career, and on top of his two Super Bowl rings, he was selected to two Pro Bowls, earned one First-Team All-Pro nod, and played in at least 14 games in 14 out of his 15 pro seasons.
Then again, Bell flipped out on social media last week because he was sick and tired about hearing critiques about his off-the-field endeavors. Honestly, Farrior's commentary might elicit another incensed response from the Jets running back due to his being simply unable to help himself.
