Steelers Legend Troy Polamalu Elected to Pro Football Hall of Fame on First Ballot

You could see it coming from a mile away. There are few potential decisions out there that feel any easier. But still, knowing that it's a done deal is still a triumphant kind of thing indeed.
Troy Polamalu is going to the Pro Football Hall of Fame as a member of the class of 2020.

The legendary Pittsburgh Steelers safety, who was on his very first ballot for Canton, has the rare distinction of earning enshrinement before reaching the age of 40. A first-round pick in 2003 out of USC, the brilliant, daring defensive back made eight Pro Bowls and six All-Pro teams, was named 2010 NFL Defensive Player of the Year, and won two Super Bowl rings.
It's hard to think of a Hall of Fame case that's more of a slam dunk.
And that doesn't even mention his incredible head of hair, which surely makes for the most amazing bust the Hall has ever had to sculpt. Congratulations to a true legend of the Steel City.
