Stefen Wisniewski Brings Perfect Combination of Championship Pedigree and Local Flare to Steelers Offense
By Mark Powell

An offseason signing along the front-seven normally wouldn't garner this much attention, but this is Pittsburgh we're talking about.
As Steelers fans waited for the first of a flurry of offseason moves, one of Pittsburgh's finest announced he was heading back home, bringing with him a winning mentality marked by two straight Super Bowl wins.
Central Catholic's own Stefen Wisniewski is back in the Burgh.
Guess what Steelers fans...

It's old news by now, but Yinzers are going to love this guy. His tough, ground-and-pound mentality was built in this town. He's a South Fayette native, and grew up a Steeler fan. Late in his career, he's desperate for another chance at a ring, and he'd love to bring Super Bowl No. 7 to a town which always deems themselves worthy.
With Ramon Foster's retirement, there's a good chance Wisniewski steps in right away as a starter, or at the very least receives significant playing time. He will be a Pittsburgh staple in 2020 -- a local product returning to do right by those he considers family.

The Eagles never wanted him to leave. Chiefs fans were disappointed by his departure. As it turns out, Wisniewski just took the long way home.
