Stefon Diggs Follows Flurry of Patriots Players on IG Amid Trade Rumors That Won't Die

Things in Minnesota are anything but harmonious, despite what the Vikings 2-2 record through four weeks might indicate.

Kirk Cousins has taken a MASSIVE step backwards early on in 2019, resulting in star receivers Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs voicing their palpable frustrations. The difference been the two, however, is that the latter is actually exasperated enough to threaten a trade out of town.

Diggs reassured some Vikings fans by returning to practice on Thursday, but he shared some brazen comments that all but confirmed his desire to be traded. A few hours later, the Maryland product's Instagram activity featured him following a couple of Patriots players-- an act that will do nothing but throw more fire into the pit of rumors.

We wouldn't read much into this if Diggs followed a couple of role players. But the fact that he's now following TOM freaking BRADY should do nothing but terrify fans up in Minny.

Yes, New England doesn't come close to boasting enough cap space to actually trade for the young pass-catcher without working some serious magic, but it just corroborates the notion that Diggs is going out of his way to irritate the organization in hopes of forcing a trade.

It remains to be seen if Minnesota will actually offload Diggs, and they surely remain keen on keeping the young talent. But its impossible to say how much longer the franchise's braintrust will continue to tolerate his antics.
