Steph Curry is the Best Shooter Ever But Doesn't Have What it Takes to Win it All by Himself

When you think of some of the best shooters in basketball history, a few names come to mind. Reggie Miller, Ray Allen and Kyle Korver are a few, but perhaps topping that list is Warriors guard Steph Curry.

Curry, undoubtedly one of the best shooters of all time, has shot to the top of almost every scoring metric in the history of the NBA. However, in this past Finals, we saw an area in which he is lacking: elite leadership.

"I don't think Steph is on the same level as a LeBron James, as a Kevin Durant, as a Kawhi Leonard," Jay Williams said on ESPN's 'Get Up.' "I think he's one hell of a player... I just don't think his skill set is enough to carry a team by himself the way we saw some of these other individuals do so."

Williams makes a good point -- we don't know what kind of locker room presence Curry is to the Warriors, but what we do know, which was proven this series, is that he doesn't have the all-around game necessary to carry his team to a ring, even if he boasts elite shooting numbers.

Steph has a chance to turn this around though considering Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant -- even if they re-sign with the Warriors -- will miss an overwhelming majority of next season, leaving him to shoulder the load.
