Steph Curry's Return Date Pushed Back as Warriors Exercise Caution

For Golden State Warriors fans who are pumped to see Steph curry return to the hardwood this weekend, we've unfortunately got some bad news for you.
According to NBA insider Shams Charania, the Warriors will not suit up Curry on Sunday. Instead, they're going to give him a little more time to heal up his broken hand and make sure he's 100% ready to get back on the floor.
Stephen Curry has been determined and preparing to play on March 1, but sides determined Friday that he will not return Sunday vs. Wizards. Warriors want Curry to have more practice time and target return is uncertain, sources say.

Curry suffered his hand injury in late October and hasn't been able to play ever since. With Curry out, along with Klay Thompson out for the year with his ACL tear, 2019-20 has been an absolute nightmare for Golden State.
After making it to the NBA Finals five consecutive seasons, the Warriors currently hold a 12-47 record and are in dead last of the Western Conference standings. Steve Kerr and Co. have faced nothing but struggles with the team's two best players sidelined and Kevin Durant no longer in town.

Whatever the case, it's likely fans have no issue with this. It's a lost season for Golden State and the last thing this team needs is to risk any further injury for No. 30. Once Curry is set, he'll look to help his team end the season on a positive note and get ready to get the Warriors back to the postseason next spring.
