VIDEO: Stephen A. Smith Was Clearly Livid on 'First Take' After Being Interrupted by Molly Qerim

Even in the middle of a coronavirus pandemic, First Take is trying to plow ahead like everything is semi-normal. Unfortunately, there appeared to be some tension on the show on Wednesday morning between Stephen A. Smith and moderator Molly Qerim. Smith was in the middle of explaining his position on the Bill O'Brien/DeAndre Hopkins saga that unfolded behind the scenes in the Houston Texans locker room, but a quick Qerim interruption prevented him from doing so. He didn't scream and yell, but you can see the seething frustration.
The panel was discussing Michael Irvin's bombshell on "Get Up" earlier this morning, and SAS was NOT done talking.
Irvin claims that Hopkins was involved in a power struggle with O'Brien, citing a meeting in which Hopkins was compared to Aaron Hernandez. O'Brien also reportedly took issue with the fact that Hopkins brought the mothers of his children to the team facility.
A moderator's job is to moderate, not interrupt people while taking the conversation off on another tangent. While Qerim normally does a terrific job on TV every weekday morning, even she can slip up in a pretty notable fashion, drawing the ire of the always emotional Stephen A.
